Some practical information

  • Cabinet frames: this unit is made up of high cabinet frames suspended on a Metod rail fixed to the wall, and low cabinet frames placed on the floor, all 37cm deep. The cabinet frames were fixed and screwed together.

  • The dowels and screws to be used to fix the rail depend on the nature of your wall (concrete, plasterboard) and the final weight to be supported. Ask your DIY shop for more information!

  • The cabinet frames have been placed on the floor on runners, which allows them to be raised slightly and ensures that the doors open properly.

A bicolour Ivory and Olive living room furniture

  • Doors: our doors are pre-drilled to fit the Metod cabinet frames.

  • Hinges: 3 Utrusta hinges (to be purchased from Ikea) per 120cm door, and 2 per 40cm door.

  • Sides: The cover panels, which cover the sides and the niche of this furniture, are screwed from the inside, with 25 to 30mm screws.

  • Cut-outs : No cutting is required for this project.
