Some practical info
- Doors: our Metod doors are pre-drilled to perfectly fit the Metod cabinet frames using Ikea Utrusta hinges.
- Sides: a 39x80cm cover panel has been placed at the head of the bed on the visible sides of the cabinets, and a second 39x80cm cover panel between the two beds so they aren't stuck together. This creates a cosy reading corner!
- Bed frame: the two 70x160cm mattresses are simply placed on top of the cabinets and held in place by plinths screwed along the inside, creating both a bed frame and keeping the mattresses from moving.
- Cut-outs: this layout requires a few easy cut-outs for the plinths that form the bed frame.
