Some practical information

  • Doors: Our doors are pre-drilled to fit the Pax cabinet frames. They go down to the floor and cover the bottom of the cabinet.


  • Hinges: 3 Komplement hinges (to be purchased from Ikea) per 201cm door and 4 hinges per 236cm door.


  • Sides: the cover panels are screwed on from the inside of the cabinet to hide the visible sides. If your unit is glued to a wall, you will not need a panel on the left side. You may need to create a threading device to hide the gap between the cabinet and the adjoining wall.


  • Desk: we fixed the top of the desk using large brackets found in DIY shops, and a cleat screwed along the wardrobe.


  • How to optimise the budget? By gluing your pedestals to a wall, you will save the price of a finishing panel.
