With real terrazzo flooring and graphic wall tiles, Camille Bernard from Lala Home opted for gorgeous materials and textures to bring some cachet to this room, adding a pretty nude palette. Some practical info

  • Cabinets: This unit was made using some Metod wall cabinets with a depth of 37cm, hung from a Metod rail fixed to the wall
  • .

    • The wall plugs and screws used to fix the rail to the wall will depend on what material your wall is made of (concrete, drywall) and the weight to support. Ask for details at your local DIY store!

  • Doors and hinges: Our doors are pre-drilled to fix to Metod cabinets, you will need 2 Utrusta hinges (to buy from Ikea) per Plum Living door.

  • Drawers: Our drawer fronts are pre-drilled to fix to Ikea Maximera rails only.

Plan Sable bathroom

  • Sides: The cover panels that cove the sides, top and bottom of this project are drilled from the inside of the cabinets, using screws that are 25 to 30mm.

  • Cutting to size: No manual cuts will be needed for this project

  • As 37cm cabinets are small, they can be difficult to add Plum Livingbing to. If you have the space, opt for 60cm deep cabinets, or, using a 37cm deep cabinet, go for an offset siphon and - under the sink - go for doors over drawers.
