Some info

  • This kitchen was made with Metod cabinets placed on the floor, and fixed to the wall on a Metod rail attached to the wall.

  • Doors and hinges: our doors are pre-drilled to attach to Metod cabinets using Utrusta hinges to be purchased at Ikea.

  • Drawers: our drawer fronts are pre-drilled to attach to Ikea Maximera drawer rails only.

    Niche: to create this niche we used 2 columns and a 60cm deep base cabinet. The cabinet above is a 37cm cabinet fixed to the columns and placed on top of the niche, which is itself made from finishing panels. 

  • Sides: the finishing panels are used to hide the sides of the cabinets, they are screwed from the inside of the cabinet. If your layout goes from wall to wall, you will not need them. You may need to create a filler to hide the empty space between the cabinet and the adjoining wall.
