Some practical information

  • Pax doors : our doors are pre-drilled to fit Pax cabinet frames. They go down to the floor and cover the bottom of the cabinet.

  • Pax hinges: 3 Komplement hinges (to be bought at Ikea) per 201cm door and 4 hinges per 236cm door.

  • Metod doors : our doors are pre-drilled to fit the Metod cabinet frames.

  • Metod hinges: 2 Utrusta hinges (to be purchased from Ikea) per 40x80cm door.

  • Sides: the side cover panels, which cover the sides/top/bottom of the cabinet frames, are screwed on the inside with 25-30mm screws.

  • Cut-outs: no cut-outs required for this project

How to optimise the budget?

By gluing your pedestals against a wall, you will save the price of one or two cover panels, i.e. between 250 and 500€.
