How to create a sideboard with Metod cabinets?

The latest creation from Studio Plum Living: this sideboard designed with Metod cabinets can be used to store your crockery, as shoe rack or mini-wardrobe. Simply dressed up with U-Shape doors in Blue 04 - Ciel voilé matte lacquer, it's the perfect addition to any room. Find out how to recreate it at home!

Some tips before you start:

  • Remember to slip small felt pads under your cabinet frames before assembling them: this will prevent the doors from rubbing against the floor when opening.

  • 40 or 80 cm wide? It's up to you! Here we've used 5 modules of 40x37x100 cm, but you can also do the same with 2 cabinets of 80x37x100 cm and 1 of 40x37x100 cm. It all depends on how you'll use them, and how much space you need inside.
