The interior designer and founder of Mise en Scène Interior Design has taken up residence at the gates of Paris, in a 19th century home that she redesigned from top to bottom. The main attraction of the ground floor, the kitchen opens up to the living and dining room. Blending seamlessly into the décor, we forgot what it was there for in the first place!
Starting with the central island - it's actually a chopping block Quitterie came across! This handy piece features built-in space for her oven and cooking utensils. The lower cabinets are dressed in our smooth Grey 01 - Gris nuage matte lacquered fronts, brass handles and a white Corian countertop. Quitterie combined them with a zellige splashback from Mosaic Factory and waxed concrete floor from Mercadier for a holiday-home look.

The floating shelves are actually old converted shutters, no overhead cabinets needed here!
