Some practical information

  • The 37cm deep wall-mounted Metod cabinet frames are suspended on a Metod rail fixed to the wall. To create this arch, we used several modules, which we connected by screwing them together.

  • The dowels and screws to use to fix the rail depend on the nature of your wall (concrete, plasterboard) and the final weight to be supported. Ask your DIY shop for more information!

  • Doors: our doors are pre-drilled to fit the Metod boxes.

  • Hinges: 2 Utrusta hinges (to be bought at Ikea) per 60x40cm door, and 3 hinges per 40x180cm door.

  • Sides: The side panels, which cover the sides and the inside of the arch, are screwed on from the inside of the carcase with 25-30mm screws. The outer panels are not necessary if your furniture is placed against a wall.
