Some practical info
- Drawers : our fronts are pre-drilled to fix directly onto Ikea Maximera rails only.
- Cabinets measuring 37cm are rather small, these can be difficult to add plumbing to. For this project, Sabine fixed the two first drawer fronts together, and then added them to one Maximera rail, in order to create a drawer measuring 40cm deep.
- If you can, opt for a 60cm deep cabinet, or if you go for 37cm deep one, buy a flat siphon, and under the sink, go for doors instead of drawers.
- Sides : cover panels used to hide the sides of cabinets are screwed from the inside of the cabinets. If your unit fits neatly between 2 walls, you will not need cover panels.
- Cuts : You will not need to cut any panels to create this project
