Some practical information
- Doors : our fronts are pre-drilled to fix directly on to Ikea Pax cabinets. Their height means they fully cover the interior cabinets, hiding the base of the cabinet too.
- Hinges :
you will need 3 Komplement hinges (you need to buy these at Ikea) for each door measuring 201cm and 4 Komplement hinges for each door measuring 236cm.
- Sides : our cover panels are used to hide the right and left sides of your cabinet. They are fixed in place by drilling screws from the inside of your cabinet, using screws measuring 25 to 30mm.
- Option : for this project, Sabine chose to also cover the top of her wardrobe, using panels measuring 236cm that were then cut. If you choose not to do this, you will not need to make any cuts to your cover panels.
