Useful information
- In this project we used 37 cm deep Metod cabinets, which we joined together and placed on the floor. To secure them, we additionally fixed them to the wall.
- The bench was made from 60 cm deep Metod cabinets, which were placed on the floor.
- Doors and hinges : Our doors are pre-drilled to fit Metod units. Plan 6 Utrusta hinges packs (2 per pack, to buy at Ikea).
- Side : The lateral side panels that cover the sides/tops/bottoms of the cabinet are screwed from the inside with 25-30mm screws.
- Cuttings : You can cut the 62x80cm large deck side into two pieces for this project, which will create two deck sides for your bench. You can cut the 62x200 cm deck side to 62x123.6 cm to attach to the top of the bench.
