A natural oak bed end - practical information

Some practical information

  • We used two 40x40cm Metod cabinet frames and one 60x40cm box, which are simply placed on the floor on silicone glides so as not to obstruct the opening of the doors.

  • Doors: our doors are pre-drilled to fit the Metod cabinets.

  • Hinges: 2 Utrusta hinges (to be purchased from Ikea) per door

  • Sides: The side cover panels, which cover the sides, are screwed on the inside with 25-30mm screws.

  • Cut-outs: No cut-outs are required for this arrangement.
