Some practical info

  • For this project, we used Metod cabinets measuring 37cm deep, which we fixed together and placed directly on the floor.

  • Doors and hinges: our doors are pre-drilled in order to fix directly onto Metod cabinets. You will need 2 Utrustra hinges per door. You'll need to buy these from Ikea.

  • Sides : the cover panels that hide the sides of the cabinets are screwed in place from the exterior, using 25 to 30mm screws.

  • Cuts : To create this project, you will need to cut two 39x40cm panels to create 3 panels of 20cm which will cover in between the cabinets.
