Some practical info

  • Cabinets: this unit was created using Metod wall cabinets measuring 37cm deep, fixed together 

  • Doors and hinges: our fronts are pre-drilled to fix to Metod cabinets. You will need 6 packs of 2 Utrusta hinges, you'll need to buy these from Ikea.

  • Drawers: our drawer fronts are pre-drilled in order to fix on to Maximera drawer rails only.

  • Sides: Cover panels are attached on to cabinet sides from the inside, using 25-30mm screws.
  • Cuts: to recreate this project, 4 cuts will be necessary. For the right hand side (39x240cm) and for the left hand side (39x100cm), as well as for the plinth. You will also need to cut the worktop, in Natural oak from 39x163cm to 39x161.6cm
