To give a new look to this flat, Camille Bernard from Lala Home chose a colour with a little personality to dress up the kitchen, which would be visibile from the entry and living room. Our Olive, deep and timeless, acts as a starting point for this project's palettes. Moka plinths, ocre splashback tiles, a table in rich walnut and a few touches of black: all these details work together to bring a cool, design aesthetic to this kitchen.

Some practical info

  • Doors and hinges: our doors are pre-drilled to fix to Metod cabinets using Ikea's Utrusta handles, you'll need to buy these directly from Ikea.

  • Drawers: our drawer fronts are pre-drilled to fix on to Ikea Maximera rails only

  • Sides:cover panelsare used to hide the sides of the cabinets and are screwed in place from the inside. If your project runs from wall to wall, you won't need them. You may have to create a filler panel, to fill a gap between a cabinet and a wall
