Useful information

  • In this project, Metod cabinets with a depth of 37 cm were screwed together.

  • The dowels and screws you should use to fasten the rail depend on the condition of your wall (concrete, plaster, etc.) and the final weight to be supported. Check with the hardware stores!

  • Doors: our doors are pre-drilled to be fixed to the Metod cabinets, plan for one pack of Utrusta hinges (to be bought at Ikea), per Plum Living door.

  • Sides: We have side panels used to cover the sides of the cabinets, to form the niches in natural oak, and for the desk top. They are screwed from the inside of the containers with 25 to 30 mm screws.

  • Cuttings:The following deck sides are needed: a 15x240cm deck side for the desk, a 62x200cm deck side in natural oak to build the shelves, and a 62x200cm deck side in Green 09 - Leaf, for the three 62x60cm deck sides that cover the sides of the base cabinets.
