Elise Chalmin's bathroom in oak

Natural Oak | €280
Personalise Samples

Too bulky, too heavy. Elise Chalmin wasn't a fan of the vanity units she found in the shops. Time for DIY! The designer turned Metod cabinets into a sleek and light vanity unit, dressed in our smooth Natural Oak fronts, Loop matte black mixer tap and Mini-Lune brass handles.

Some practical info

  • Doors: Our doors are pre-drilled to perfectly fit Metod cabinet frames.

  • Hinges: 2 Utrusta hinges (to be purchased from Ikea) per 60x40cm door.

  • Sides: cover panels are used to hide the sides of your cabinets and are screwed on from the inside. If your layout is wall-to-wall, you won't need them. However, you may need to create a filler panel to cover the gap between the cabinet and the adjoining wall.

Check out our checklist to make sure nothing gets left behind at Ikea!
