Helpful Information

  • In this project, Metod cabinets with a depth of 37 cm were screwed together.

  • Doors & hinges: our doors are pre-drilled to be fixed to the Metod cabinets, plan for one pack of Utrusta hinges (to be bought at Ikea), per Plum Living door.

  • Sides: The sides and top of this chest of drawers are screwed together from the inside with 25 to 30 mm screws.

  • Cuttings: To implement this project, only one cut is required, and that is for the oak back panel on the right-hand side of the chest of drawers. To avoid cutting, you can also use a simple 39x80 cm top panel, which you apply over the entire height of the chest of drawers, similar to the one on the left side.
