How does Plum Living work?
Plum Living designs and offers facades, accessories, and paints to give an extra soul to your Ikea kitchens, storage furniture, and wardrobes. Say goodbye to interiors without personality, and hello to furniture that reflects you!

What items can I buy from Plum Living?
At Plum Living, you’ll find cabinet doors, drawer fronts, cover panels, handles and plinths specifically created to work with Metod, Pax and Besta cabinet frames. Plum’s doors replace those that are available at Ikea. This is our expertise. Everything else, whether it’s hinges, drawers, cabinet frames or legs, need to be purchased from Ikea.
Please note: we do not create bespoke items or products for any range other than Merod, Pax and Besta.
Is it possible to design your project (kitchen, dressing room, buffet, etc.) at Plum Living?
Yes! Calculating the number of linear meters available, arranging the cabinets, thinking about the right locations for the appliances... Designing a kitchen is a profession! Our Plum Planners are experts in layout and the Metod, Pax and Besta ranges no longer hold any secrets for them.
Two design options are available to you:
- A 1.5-hour video design , in order to remotely design the project (kitchen, dressing room, bench, etc.) where you will feel good. At the end of this meeting, you will receive your Ikea plan and the Plum Living shopping list, and all you have to do is get started. To make an appointment, click here .
Our design service is offered for a fee of €39, the price of this service will be deducted from your facade order.
- A 2-hour at-home design , during which our design experts will take measurements of your room, and create your Ikea plan, and your Plum Living project. Optional: Plum Living can also organize the installation of your layout. To find out if our Plum Planners travel to your area, click here!
Our home design service is offered for an amount of €99, the price of this service will be deducted from your order of facades.

How to order from Plum Living?
Once the plan of your layout has been finalized using the Ikea configurator, you now know the list of facades and finishing panels that you need. You can then order these cladding elements via our e-shop. If you would like to get an accurate quote before ordering, please visit our quote page .
Your order will be delivered within 6-8 weeks of receipt of your payment. Visit our delivery page to find out your exact delivery fortnight based on your order date.
What's left to order from Ikea?
Everything else! To avoid a trip to Ikea, refer to our Ikea Checklist . Also take the opportunity to organize the installation of your layout by referring to our Installation Installer Brief below (for a Metod layout or a Pax layout).
How to find an installer?
For the installation of your project, we have established an address book of professionals that our Creative Studio, our Plum Planners and our customers call upon with their eyes closed. You will find it here .
What information does my tradesman need to know?
First thing’s first: Plum Living's fronts are pre-drilled and attach to the cabinet frames in exactly the same way as Ikea’s own fronts. The tradesmen recommended by Ikea are totally independent, and are happy to install Plum Living fronts.
