How to create a desk with Plum Living items x Tiptoe legs?

Take an Ikea kitchen cabinet, turn it into a desk! Dress it up with Plum Living fronts and a few chrome handles for a touch of contrast. Top it off with a bench top sold by your favourite Swedish giant, and support it with legs from TIPTOE. Get out your paintbrushes and let your creativity run wild! A few hours later and you've created a unique desk that you won't find at your neighbours'!

Some tips before you start:

  • We used a 60x60 cm Metod "overhead cabinet", which we dressed up in Blue 03 - Bleu gris matte lacquered side panels 62 cm wide by 80 cm high. We then trimmed them back by 10 cm on site to create additional open storage space.

  • The TIPTOE legs are designed to fit 3 - 4 cm thick shelves. We opted for a 3 cm thick model from Ikea.
