Hinges adjustment

Utrusta hinges for Metod cabinets, Komplement hinges for Pax cabinets and Bestå hinges for Besta cabinets can be adjusted to perfectly align the doors. Watch the Metod video tutorial here. The principle is the same for Pax and Besta; instructions are available below.

Drawer rail installation and adjustment

If your drawers overlap, or touch your countertop, this is because the plastic fixings that attach directly to the front have not been screwed into the right holes.
To install the drawer fronts, follow the Maximera installation instructions supplied by Ikea with your drawer rail. Please note that there are two specific pages to which you should refer:
• Installing a drawer placed at the top of the cabinet or in the middle (see “Top drawer” diagram) > the plastic fixings are screwed through the 2 highest holes.
• Installing a drawer at the bottom of the cabinet (see “Lower drawer” diagram) > the plastic fasteners are screwed through the 2 lowest holes.

To summarize:
→ For a drawer placed at the top of the cabinet, the screws must be inserted in the top 2 holes of the plastic bracket (which has three holes in all).
→ For a drawer placed at the bottom of the cabinet, the screws must be inserted into the bottom 2 holes of the plastic bracket (which has three holes in all).
